An Interview with MUUD’s Wellness Experts: Danial Ahmed

It is important to take a break to meditate and reflect every once in a while. By doing so, I keep myself grounded and stress-free. Peace of mind is everything.

How has your background and experience led you to MUUD?

My road to MUUD seemed natural and fitting. Having both a BS in Biology and MBA in Healthcare has only elevated me in my career thus far. I have an extensive background in project management in various healthcare settings. Managing and working alongside people with different backgrounds has shaped me into a multifaceted individual. While I enjoy the science side of things at a micro-level, I believe incorporating healthy habits into my life is equally as important. Being well-rounded in both healthcare project management as well as business development is what makes me a great addition to the MUUD team.

What does mental wellness mean to you?

Mental wellness is ensuring that your mind and body are working together in a cohesive unit. In our society, it is easy to get wrapped up in the daily hustle of life between work, family, and friends. To me, it is important to take a break to meditate and reflect every once in a while. By doing so, I keep myself grounded and stress-free. Peace of mind is everything.

What do you do as part of your wellness routine?

A healthy wellness routine is an integral part of my daily life. I like to exercise at least six days a week for a minimum of two. I am selective on my intake as I like to keep track of my meals. I tend to eat three to five meals depending on the day. I enjoy partaking in a variety of athletic activities such as calisthenics, hiking, rock climbing, and jogging on the beach. I recently got into Muay Thai and it has been an exhilarating experience!

What makes you excited to be a part of MUUD?

It is super exciting to be a part of MUUD because our mission of increasing awareness in both fitness and nutrition is groundbreaking. We are amidst the digital age where social media and technology are a big part of society. MUUD provides a platform where one can share their health journey with their community, inspiring others to implement change in their own life.
